Easter 2012

We celebrated Easter with a houseful of friends. We started out in nice clothes (the only time a year that we dress up for church) but by the end of the afternoon Merin was down to her diaper. Oh well- it made for some cute egg hunting pics!

Merin loved picking up eggs for her basket, even though she didn't even know what was inside. Elias and his friend had a fierce egg hunt later that required blood, sweat, tears and tree climbing.

Spring Bluebonnets

Some rare spring rains brought beautiful wildflowers in Central Texas! Here are a few pictures from our amazing field of bluebonnets down the street from our house. We had about 5 minutes to snap these photos before a woman asked us to leave. Apparently we were on private property. Oops.

12 Months of Merin

I've missed blogging so I've decided to start at it again... slowly. 

To start off- a collection of photos from Merin's first 12 months of life. She is 16 months now and walking, talking, laughing and eating. And eating. And eating. So much fun!

And she's ONE year old!
